Supplies in warehouses and distribution centers
The use of Barcodes and RFID tags has for years proved its worth in warehouse environments to support in and outbound operations.
By using barcodes on products and locations, in combination with the use of mobile computers, the chances of picking wrong products are decreased significantly. Through a wireless network connection, the orderpicker is directly connected to the Warehouse Management System or ERP system and is hence led through the warehouse in the most efficient manner.

Floor Locations
To identify floor locations, various possibilities excist; for example an aluminium label which is applied in a milled hole in the floor, or a barcode in a steel frame which is attached directly to the floor. Both solutions are very durable and even allows for sliding pallets or rotating forklift tires!
Warehouse Aisles
Warehouse aisles can be identified by using plastic or metal plates. On metal plates, magnetic letters and/or barcodes can be attached, which increases the flexibility when changing the layout of your warehouse. The signs are available in various sizes and colors, with hanging holes or with adhesive strips.
A label with all barcodes for the entire rack is attached on the bottom of the rack, so the orderpicker can easily scan the barcode from a short distance (or from the truck). The barcode is printed diagonally so no 'overlap' of the barcode laser occurs. The signs are available in various layouts, colors and materials, including magnetic backing for freezer environments. Of course there are many more alternatives for sustainable location identification; Our specialists are happy to discuss the various options with you!
